Glacier Foods

Freedom

Our mission is to support the free market and decentralization of the food supply chain and economy.

We are located in the Pacific Northwest in North America by the Columbia River and near the Wapato Basin that was carved by glaciers creating one of the largest lakes in the region, Lake Chelan.

In 2021, we started a freeze drying facility for processing small runs (~200lbs per batch) of freeze dried products. However, it became too expensive to operate for the production volume of the facility, so we halted production in 2022. The expense and time for marketing was underestimated, our goal was to sell directly to consumers for greater efficiency, transparency and quality. The main product that we produced was freeze dried apples.

In 2023, we completely closed down the production facility. We shifted our goals to marketing of sound food and money. This lead us down the path of discovering The Beef Initiative and a book by Saifedean Ammous titled The Fiat Standard and specifically Chapter 9: Fiat Food. As well as the book by Matthew Lysiak titled Fiat Food.

One of our strategies to protect from the expansion of the USD money supply was to produce freeze dried apples that can have a shelf-life of over 20 years. The other was accepting payments in bitcoin.

In 2024, most operations are in hibernation like that of the black bear that live in the forests here in the Pacific Northwest — however far longer. We have available stock of high-quality and single-ingredient freeze dried honeycrisp apples, if you're interested please contact us. We have boxes and pallets available.
